Join our Kristiansand Urban Lab!

Dear citizen,

We are on a mission to collaboratively respond to environmental challenges for smart sustainable cities in Nordic countries. We are scientists and municipalities participating in the research project NordicPATH. The project’s overall aim is to create smart, sustainable and people-centred cities. Kristiansand municipality and NILU-Norwegian Institute for Air Research are project partners from Norway, other partners and municipalities are located in Sweden, Denmark and Finland. You will find more information about the project here: https://nordicpath.nilu.no/.

We strongly believe that citizens, municipalities, scientists and other stakeholders have to work together in order to create truly sustainable cities. This is what we are going to do in this project by applying participatory processes, which means we want the insights from people like you that live, move and use the city of Kristiansand.

NordicPATH offers many options for you to participate, like measuring air quality with novel sensor technologies, participating in workshops with the municipality, share your insights through online surveys, and much more.

Does that sound a bit overwhelming? Don’t worry, we promise the activities will be engaging, solution-oriented, and you can decide how much time you are willing to dedicate. There are even spectator/learner options you can choose from.

While we finish polishing the first activities, you can already register to participate in as many activities you like by completing this registration form. Choose the alternative(s) that suit you best.

We promise to use your data exclusively for project purposes and to get in contact with you only through your stated preferences of participation. The information you provide through this form will be deleted after the end of the project, approx. 31 March 2023. For more information, please carefully read the Information letter.
